One man's junk...

We deliberated. Standing with our two children at an estate sale on Saturday--should we buy it? It was really cheap. But it wasn't on our list so we walked away. Sunday we agreed if it was still available to go back and buy it.

Lee drove over Monday and picked it up in his old pickup. It has imperfections on the top but hey, its vintage. Even came with a mirror. And of course toys now fill up 4 of the six drawers...

bathroom accessories

The plumbing was hooked up Monday! We're planning a reveal next month when we can buy accents + wrap up details. We need some accents with personality. I started digging around today, here are my favorites so far...

installation day!

I could hardly sleep last night thinking of this little cabinet's arrival. And it really was everything we hoped it to be. Phil did a fantastic job.

But...the plumber could not hook up plumbing. The sink has no overflow and needs a special drain. I'm about to call stores in the area. I'm hoping since vessel sinks are pretty common maybe someone has a grid drain in stock. This one looks pretty cool...

bathroom cabinet

Lee's design, built by Phil Carlson. Isn't it great? Its going to match our woodwork beautifully.
