A few weeks ago we drove south to visit my parents and grandparents. They have a wonderful place in the country, and my Grandaddy is always sure to offer us plants and food from his garden when we visit.

We brought back some blueberries from his bushes. While I’ve enjoyed adding them to smoothies over the past few weeks, I felt a craving for something different. I experimented by combining the blueberries with basil from my garden. The outcome? Delicious!
