I mostly took the trip to get inspiration for my Etsy shop. I studied pricing and content. It was encouraging to see so many sellers and buyers interested in vintage. I saw a few pieces that I have sold in the shop and a few I hope to list in the future.
I have such a weakness for letterpress trays and stamps. This booth had both with the option to buy stamps individually.
Most furniture at the booths were antiques or farmhouse rustic in style. But I did find one booth with mid century pieces. I was happy to see a few Eames fiberglass chairs!
Oh and the Fisher Price. I wanted it all. Every pull toy and bus and carnival.
And last but not least. I came across vintage metal ride on/pedal toys. Such incredibly sweet designs. They would make great photo props for children's photography!
All in all it was an inspiring sale! I had no idea the magnitude of the sale (I should have worn sneakers!) It covered the entire town. I ended up with a Pepsi crate, fisher-price accessories, a map and a few magazines.
Do you shop at antique sales or flea markets? It was a bit overwhelming but so worth it!
