How to make muddy buddies using cookie butter, a gift idea in a red container

This recipe guides you through how to make muddy buddies using cookie butter. They have a subtle gingerbread taste alongside an irresistibly crunchy and sweet texture. Plus, they’re free from peanuts and tree nuts.

My family has a lot of food allergies. My son has a peanut allergy and my daughter has tree nut allergies. Traditional muddy buddies use peanut butter. There are alternatives–almond butter and Nutella, but those are made with tree nuts.

So I developed this nut-free muddy buddy recipe! Personally I think they taste fabulous.
