Lets talk entryway lights for a minute. The past week I've gotten stuck on ours, and (while I'm saving for the kitchen remodel) I decided that switching out our hallway lights would be a good idea. Currently we have the 1990s brass with glass with they pointy lightbulbs. I like brass, but not the shiny 1990s kind of brass. I visited my local Home Depot and Lowes, but didn't see anything in store I liked that was under $50. So I started to search around online and found a ton of good options!
I came up with several fun flush mount light fixtures--perfect for a hallway, that don't cost a lot of money. Scroll down below for each of them and read to the end to find out which one I picked!

8 Flush Mount Light Fixtures for Under $50

Note: When I spec'd #3 it was under $50, the price since went up. But it is the cheapest semi-flush drum light I could find so I chose to leave it in the set!
Below is a before shot of one of our hallways (we have two more light fixtures to replace, but this spot gets the most traffic so I am starting here!). I ended up purchasing #5: the antique brass industrial fixture from Amazon (it comes in other colors if you'd prefer non-brass). It was delivered this week and first impression--I love it! I'll update the post with an after photo once we replace the light fixture this weekend!
