Thank you Tuesday Morning for sponsoring this post.

We updated our master bathroom on a small budget two years ago. It was a beautiful transformation! Afterward? Life happened. We are busy parents of two elementary school aged kids, and we also both work from home. When family comes to visit we clean and organize “almost” every part of our house but our master bathroom is always overlooked. The room is truly a forgotten space in our home.

With the help of Tuesday Morning our bathroom went from a cluttered mess to stylish and organized. They offer unique, well-designed home goods handpicked by buyers from around the world at reasonable prices. I love the pieces I found in store—they are all together unique and full of texture and warmth.

Scroll down for more pictures of the before & after in our master bathroom! Artwork, metal baskets, towels, faux succulents, and accessories from Tuesday Morning improved the style & organization of my forgotten space.

Before

Below of our master bathroom before it got a refresh. So embarrassing!! I didn’t clean up for the photos, and I also didn’t add anything to them. The countertops were honestly that cluttered. Our kids also frequently use this bathroom (for some unknown reason they prefer it to their own) which adds to the disorder! And we barely used the cabinet space under the sink.

A Trip to Tuesday Morning

Before I went shopping at Tuesday Morning I listed out specific items to look for like cups, towels, an organizer, baskets, and artwork but kept an open mind about what I would find.

I also made sure to visit ALL the aisles, not just the bathroom goods. The metal cups that hold our toothbrushes were found near kitchen cups. And I found a really cool metal bell with rope in the Christmas section. Keep an open mind when shopping for your space and shop all over the store for a one of a kind look!

After

High on my list of priorities was finding improved organized solutions for our countertop. I found a pretty, natural woven bathroom set and placed double wall galvanized tumblers, $9.99 each, on either side. I also purchased a pack of white hand towels for $5.99 because you can never have too many hand towels!

I removed the old contact paper under the sink (why did I wait this long?) and my husband spray painted our plumbing pipes so they blend in better with the wood cabinet interior. I added metal baskets with the liner removed, $7.99 each, under the cabinet for extra supplies and vitamins.

I purchased several mini faux succulents, $2.99 each, for the countertop and near the tub. The plants are cute and realistic down to the rocks and dirt—and I love that they need zero maintenance!

I found a gold giraffe ringholder, $5.99, near office goods for my earrings and bracelets. I find it pretty adorable and our kids do too.

I walked by the large metal bell, $15.99, several times and decided it was too cool to pass up! It has a fun nautical vibe. Alongside it I added a candle that was on clearance, and a beautiful brass magnifying glass for $9.99. I displayed all the pieces on a water hyacinth placemat, $4.99, that matches our countertop organizer.

On the wall over our tub I installed a vibrant 36”x36” cacti picture for $49.99. It brings all the colors in the space together and adds a lot of cheer to the space! Plus it goes great with the new striped floor rug, $15.99. I selected the rug because the dark grey compliments the cabinet color and the tan edge compliments other pieces in the room. I also purchased a few grey towels, $9.99 each, for our tub—they are made from bamboo and cotton and feel incredible!

I am a big fan of Tuesday Morning. Their home decor products are unique and high quality, plus the prices are fantastic! I am so pleased with the home goods I found there to improve our master bathroom both in style and functionality. I hope this project inspires you to refresh a forgotten room in your home soon! You can find your local store here using their store locator page. We have one less than 10 minutes away!
